I'm Justyn Dagg, the founder and currently the sole developer behind Sidestep Interactive — an independent studio devoted to storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional depth. I believe in quiet rebellion: turning away from the expected to create something meaningful.

I draw inspiration from ancient myths, forgotten paths, and the quiet places of the world. My goal is to create games that aren't just entertaining, but that echo — stories and experiences that stay with you long after you’ve put down the controller.

Through Sidestep Interactive, I'm building games that are atmospheric, intentional, and unapologetically different.

A mythic tale of vengeance, sacrifice, and the last breath of a dying land.

The invaders have come to erase the old world. You are here to stop them.

In the shadow of a brutal Roman conquest, the sacred heart of ancient Britain lies under siege. Stone circles crumble beneath iron boots. Holy groves burn. The voices of the gods grow quiet.

You are Ash, a druidic warrior called not to conquer—but to protect. Across hills, forests, and forgotten paths, sacred sites of power are falling one by one. Each must be defended. Each carries a memory. Each holds the last threads of balance in a world being torn apart.

This is not a war for empire. It is a battle for the soul of the land.

Circle of Ruin is a story-driven, single-player action-adventure set in a mythic reimagining of ancient Britain. Blending haunting beauty with violent conflict, it follows one warrior’s struggle to hold back annihilation—not for glory, but for what must not be lost.

Defend the sacred. Resist the ruin. Remember who you are.

An atmospheric, stylized world steeped in decay and resistance.
Forests cloaked in fog. Roman camps lit by fire. Sacred groves glowing with druidic power.
